Jackie’s Mom’s name is Lisley (Lily) and she’s been making this mix of delicious spices her entire life. Born in Cebu, Philippines, she moved to to Burlington, Iowa for her husband Bob and (thankfully!) brought her traditional Filipino recipes with her. Once in the US, she began creating Asian-American dishes that family, friends and neighbors craved while telling stories guaranteed to make you laugh.
